Pro Tips

  • 🫐Wild blueberries — found frozen at most stores — have a more concentrated flavor and deeper color than cultivated. Worth finding.
  • 🧈Almond butter adds richness and makes this more substantial if you want it to serve as a meal.
  • 🍦Vanilla extract is the secret — it rounds out the blueberry and makes the whole thing taste like something you'd pay $12 for.
  • 🧊Freeze your banana in chunks, not whole — they blend more evenly and thicken the smoothie better.

Questions

Does lavender flavor work in a blueberry smoothie?

PBP Relax has a subtle lavender note that sits behind the blueberry rather than dominating it. Most people describe it as smooth and lightly aromatic — floral depth, not a soapy taste. Stir it in rather than blending for the most balanced result.

Is this a good post-workout smoothie?

Many people use it after physical activity — no added sugar, natural sweetness from blueberries and banana, and the Relax formula as a wind-down element. Add the almond butter if you want more staying power.

Can I use fresh blueberries instead of frozen?

Fresh works — the smoothie will be thinner. Add extra ice to compensate. Frozen gives the best thick texture without watering down the flavor.

Can I add protein powder to this?

Yes — unflavored or vanilla protein powder blends cleanly and doesn't compete with the blueberry or lavender. Add it with the other ingredients before blending.

What is PBP Relax?

PBP has three formulas — Elevate (focus/energy), Social (connection), and Relax (calm/restoration). Each is designed for a different mood experience and can be used individually or combined for nine distinct effects. Explore the full Mood House system →
